Borrow e-books, audiobooks, and magazines with Libby, the new app from OverDrive.
Use Libby in a web browser at libbyapp.com or download the Libby app on iOS and Android devices.
You will need your C/W MARS library card number and account password to sign in and start borrowing.

Amazon/Kindle Users
Kindle Fire users can sideload Libby onto their device manually with our APK (Android Package file), since Amazon has not yet accepted our submission of the Libby app to the Amazon Appstore. Once the APK is installed, the Libby app will appear and function like any other app on your Fire tablet.
Note: The Libby APK is supported on Fire tablets with Fire OS 5+. Your downloading steps may vary slightly depending on your device’s generation and operating system version.

Hoopla Digital from BPL
Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, TV shows, e-books, and comics for free on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or TV. Content can be streamed immediately or temporarily downloaded to your device for offline use.
You can check out up to ten items from Hoopla per calendar month. Movies and TV shows can be borrowed for seventy-two hours, music albums for seven days, and e-books and comics for twenty-one days.
Hoopla can be used in a web browser at hoopladigital.com or with its app on iOS, Android, and Amazon devices. You will need your Boston Public Library e-card number and an email address to get started.

Kanopy from BPL
Kanopy is a video streaming service that allows you to stream movies and documentaries for free on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or TV. Browse Kanopy’s collection of over 30,000 videos and stream ad-free content immediately. You can watch up to four titles through Kanopy per calendar month.
Kanopy can be used in a web browser at boston.kanopy.com or with its app on iOS, Android, and Amazon devices. Kanopy also offers apps for TV devices, such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and more. To create a Kanopy account and start watching, you will need your Boston Public Library e-card number and an email address.
