Libby

Borrow e-books, audiobooks, and magazines with the Libby app! Use Libby in a web browser at libbyapp.com or download the Libby app on iOS and Android devices. 

You will need your C/W MARS library card number and account password to sign in and start borrowing. 

Amazon/Kindle Users: Libby is compatible with Fire tablets from 2020 or later, plus some earlier models.

Hoopla

Hoopla is a digital media service that allows you to borrow movies, music, TV shows, e-books, and comics for free on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or TV. Content can be streamed immediately or temporarily downloaded to your device for offline use. 

Check out up to ten items per calendar month. Movies and TV shows can be borrowed for seventy-two hours, music albums for seven days, and e-books and comics for twenty-one days.

Kanopy

Kanopy is a video streaming service that allows you to stream movies and documentaries for free on your computer, tablet, smartphone, or TV. Browse Kanopy’s collection of over 30,000 videos and stream ad-free content immediately. You can watch up to four titles per calendar month. 

Kanopy can be used in a web browser at boston.kanopy.com or with the app on iOS, Android, and Amazon devices. Kanopy also offers apps for TV devices, such as Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and more. To create a Kanopy account and start watching, you will need a Boston Public Library e-card number and an email address to get started.

LEA: Borrow More eMaterial

LEA stands for Library ebooks and audiobooks. Massachusetts Library Networks are collaborating to bring you LEA, a new and innovative way to gain access to more eBooks and audiobooks. Powered by Overdrive, LEA makes it possible for you to search for eContent in all Networks regardless of your home library.

 

With LEA, you can access eBooks, audiobooks, and more from libraries across the Commonwealth using your phone, tablet, or eReader. There are 345 partnering libraries with an estimated collection of over 350,000 eBooks and audiobooks!

 

If you don't see the title you're looking for in the CW MARS Digital Catalog, use your library card to sign in to another Library Network and find it there.
