The summer reading program at the Merrick Public Library is open to ages 0-18.

 

For pre-readers, for each book read to the child, put a sticker on the chart. Earn a prize for each set of 10 books read (up to five prizes).

For elementary schoolers, fill out the summer reading chart. For each set of five books read, pick out a prize from our prize booth (up to five prizes).

For teens, check out library material and get a scratch ticket--win a prize instantly or be entered into a raffle for a Barnes and Noble gift card.

*Required summer reading books for Tantasqua students in grades 7-12 are also available at the library.*
