Update on the traveling zoo

The traveling zoo was held on the common last Thursday (August 12), but was cut short because of an unexpected thunderstorm. We had hoped to be able to have the zookeepers come back to show the rest of the animals this Thursday (August 19), as that was the original rain date, but as the weather looks rainy and stormy again for this Thursday, it will not be held. We're very sorry for the disappointing news but are grateful that so many people were able to see and pet the kinkajou and Eurasian eagle owl last week.
